David Schwartz
David Schwartz is the co-founder and Campaign Director of Real Food Challenge (RFC), a national student organization with affiliate groups on over 150 college campuses. Through targeted student campaigns, RFC has won over $50 million in university commitments to purchasing from local, ecological, fair and humane farms and food businesses. David was honored at the 2011 VH1/Do Something Awards for this work, and was selected as a 2010 Echoing Green Fellow for emerging social entrepreneurs. David has also served as a Board member of The Food Project, Inc. in Boston. He holds a B.A. in the History of Food and Agriculture from Brown University.
